I am guilty of taking several snapchat photos of my outfits before heading out; yes I am “that person”. But really, it’s such a rarity for me to be wearing anything other than sweatpants, these moments need to be documented. While I was in Asia I obviously had a bit more reason to ditch the sweats, so I was snapping a lot and figured today I would share some of those snap outfits with you. From my casual poolside wear to sunset beach dinners, I’ve included a variety of outfits as well as linked to all of them.
Without further ado, please enjoy my tropical trip style as told by Snapchat.
Look #1 – Flirty Fun
This dress is one of my absolute favourite pieces. It’s from Sugarcloth, one of my favourite online clothing stores. The back of the dress is completely open and its cut low in the front, but is still cute as opposed to overly revealing. The skater skirt makes the dress super flirty and my favourite thing about it is that you can dress it up with heels as I did here, or wear it casual with chucks and a flannel.
I am not the type of person who can just lie on the beach and tan. I need to be actively in the water, whether its swimming, surfing, paddle boarding; I need to be enjoying the ocean and that’s exactly why I love this bikini. The bottoms are slightly cheeky cut, but so secure, I wear them surfing all the time and never have to worry about them falling off after I wipe out. The top is a sports bra like cut, with mesh details that still give it a sexy-sporty vibe. The muscle shirt is from Victoria Secret and I bought it a size bigger to wear as a cover up.
Look #3 – Out and About
This was my go to exploring outfit in Bali. It was so incredibly hot, but my shoulders were sun-burnt after day one, so I was grateful for this lightweight long sleeve shirt. Paired with some denim cutoffs and a bikini underneath for those impromptu swims, I was ready to hit the road and get exploring!
Look #4 – Dinner by the Beach
This was my favourite outfit I wore in Bali. This was saved for my more formal dinner on the beach. The top is the comfiest crop top I own! I bought this at Express over Black Friday and absolutely love it. The v-neck is super flattering (even for my small boobs!) and the cut outs make it that much more cool. The maxi skirt is from Lulu’s and is extremely comfortable and the slit in the leg lets you show off a little skin without going overboard.
Look #5 – Comfy Casual
This was the outfit I actually wore to Hong Kong Disneyland, since it was warm in Hong Kong, but not as hot as Bali. These jeans are my favourite jeans I’ve ever owned. They’re extremely comfortable and still flattering; plus they pair with just about anything! The high neck of this top allowed me to cover up my ridiculous tan lines, while still being form fitting enough to show off some curves.
I hope you guys enjoyed this quick post and if you’d like more peeks inside my closet let me know in the comments!
